Blythe Barracudas Swimming Club provides tuition through its teaching groups for children from 3 years wishing to learn to swim or improve their swimming technique.  Swimming development is centred on good technique and confidence in the water with progression through the structured ability groups.
Those children who want to swim competitively are invited to join the competitive swimming squads.  Blythe Barracudas takes part in many friendly and league galas to give as many swimmers as possible to opportunity to swim.  We currently have teams in Nuneaton Junior League, Mercian League and National Arena League.
Individual swimmers are also encouraged to enter open meets. Several swimmers have attained a high level of success in at County, District and National level.
Teaching and training is carried out by trained and DBS checked coaching staff under Head Coach Brian Cooke.
The Club is managed by a Committee, which is elected annually.
More help is always needed especially now the club had grown. Helping poolside at galas, fundraising, assisting with events all takes a lot of work and we welcome parents who can help, however much time they have to give.  We are also looking for more officials and can arrange training for parents or older swimmers who are interested in achieving Judge Level 1 or beyond.
